Department of Translational Medical Bioengineering

Journal club on the biomedical sciences

Reading peer-reviewed scientific articles can be challenging when you’re just getting started. The Journal Club on the Biomedical Sciences on the chair of translational medical bioengineering is designed to give students the opportunity to read, evaluate and discuss peer-reviewed articles, broad their horizons, learn to report and debate.

Students can take advantage of this risk-free environment and join the conversation. Simply read the article in advance, and bring any questions or comments you have on the paper to the meeting. The students who chose the paper will present it to the group, and then we will discuss it.

Discussion topics include current publications in the field of biomedical research, targeted drug delivery, cell technologies, new treatments using biomedical technologies, etc.

Plase join for all or part of these sessions to hear the journal article presentations. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Dr. Olena Golembiovska or the student curator – Bohdana Ruzhytska. Articles will be shared here as we get closer to the date.

Journal club meetings are usually held once every two weeks or as needed. In the conditions of martial law, meetings are held online via a previously announced Zoom link.
