Visit to University Lyon-1 : Establishing Collaboration in Nanotechnology

On July 4th, 2024, our associate professor Olena Holembiovska visited Claude Bernard University (UCBL), commonly known as Lyon 1, in France. During the visit, she met with Dr. Christophe Marquette, director of the Laboratory of Enzymatic and Biomolecular Engineering and the scientific coordinator of the 3d.FAB bioprinting laboratory.

The tour of the laboratories was particularly impressive, with Dr. Marquette and his team showcasing the latest advancements in bioprinting. The modern technologies and equipment used to create biological structures with high precision were truly fascinating. Believe me, we will be able to achieve this at FBMI with joint efforts!

During the visit, we discussed potential scientific collaboration between our universities, particularly in the fields of bioprinting with live cells, nanotechnology, and lab-on-a-chip technologies. We exchanged ideas for joint research and projects that could form the basis for fruitful cooperation in the future.

This visit has opened new horizons for scientific exchange and the development of innovative technologies. We extend our sincere gratitude to Christophe Marquette and all the laboratory staff for their warm welcome and look forward to successful collaboration.

Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming projects and achievements in the field of nanotechnology.
