On November 1, 2024, there was a meeting of representatives of the administration of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering with Yana Yuriyivna, the authorized person for the prevention and detection of corruption at Tsymbalenko University. The event took place proactively, it became another step in the direction of improving ethical culture and preventing corruption in the educational process.
At the meeting, important aspects of combating corruption in higher educational institutions were discussed, in particular, the specifics of the work of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and its teaching staff in the conditions of modern requirements for integrity and transparency of activity. The authorized person informed the participants about the new internal policies of the university, aimed at identifying possible risks related to corrupt practices and increasing the awareness of students and teachers about the basics of ethical behavior.
The meeting ended with agreement on further steps, including training for students and teachers, regular information on anti-corruption initiatives, and support for an open dialogue on the topic of integrity at the university.
