We are proud to announce that Anastasiia Herasymenko, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Olena Golembiovska from the Department of Translational Medical Bioengineering, has developed the innovative hydrogel dressing RANIOPAK designed to accelerate the healing of wounds and burns.
The RANIOPAK project has become one of the winners of the InScience Conference 2025 startup competition, receiving a grant for further technology development.
The team is working on a bioactive dressing based on hop iso-alpha acids, natural compounds with strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. This approach combines cutting-edge biomedical engineering with nature-inspired regenerative mechanisms.
The received grant opens new opportunities for advanced research, prototype development, and future clinical validation of the technology.
We sincerely thank the organizers of InScience Conference 2025, the jury, and mentors for their trust and support of Ukrainian young scientists.
Congratulations to the RANIOPAK team on this well-deserved success!
We wish you continued progress in advancing innovative solutions in biomedicine and medical technologies.
