On 23 July 2026, the Department of Translational Medical Bioengineering will hold its first informal graduation gathering for Bachelor’s graduates following the official diploma award ceremony.
The event is organized exclusively for graduates of the Department of Translational Medical Bioengineering and will serve as a dedicated continuation of the graduation celebrations. Following the University’s official ceremony, graduates, academic staff, and invited guests will meet at the Faculty to celebrate this important milestone, reconnect, take commemorative photographs, and reflect on their academic journey.
The initiative aims not only to create a memorable and welcoming atmosphere, but also to strengthen long-term engagement between the Department and its graduates as members of an enduring academic community. The Department intends to establish this gathering as an annual tradition that will foster professional networking, encourage continued collaboration, and maintain meaningful connections with alumni throughout their careers.
A key feature of this initiative will be the introduction of the Department of Translational Medical Bioengineering Graduate Book. Each graduating class will have a dedicated page featuring a group photograph, graduates’ signatures, personal messages, and reflections on their time at the Department. Over the years, the Graduate Book will become a valuable historical record of the Department and an important part of its institutional heritage.
The gathering will also provide an opportunity to collect structured feedback from graduates.
