The week of 8-11 of July was incredibly busy and interesting! Even the heat did not hinder fruitful business trip of our collegues!
We are excited to share the highlights of the recent visit to Prague by our Associate Professor Olena Holembiovska and Associate Professor of the Department of Biosafety and Human Health Yulia Antonova-Rafi, where they had the pleasure of visiting the Czech Health Technology Institute to discuss potential collaborations in the field of student exchange for the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Their journey also took them to the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where education and innovative research shape the future of healthcare.
They also had the opportunity to visit the BTL Medical International medical device factories and the LINET hospital bed factory, as well as the impressive premises of Prusa Research, which produces 3D printers at its “3D farm.” The advancements in medical technology and 3D printing are truly inspiring!
Finally, visiting the state-of-the-art SIMU MED MUNI training and simulation center in Brno and the center at the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague provided valuable insights into further improving our training programs and enhancing the quality of medical care.
Special thanks to Marek Svoboda, Petra Roy, and Karolína Zemanová for the wonderful organization of our stay!
We look forward to the new opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to build strong partnerships in the field of medical technology and education!
